Story of the wine
Prosecco over the last decade has become the World’s favourite sparkling wine that can accompany almost any occasion. This has been due, initially, to its popularity in the chic bars of Venice. Indeed most grapes for Prosecco are grown just north of Venice around the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a part of Italy that is equally famous for the many villas built by Palladio in the 16th century. The wine got its name in the North East of Italy.
